Turbo RS 3-38 Bar Feeder

The FMB Turbo 3-38 is the next generation of bar feeders. The RS’s patented sliding guide module fully integrates the bar feeder, guide channel and moving steady rest with the lathe spindle resulting in superior bar stability and RPM performance. Designed for feeding round, square and hexagonal bar material into all types of sliding, fixed, CNC, or cam operated lathes. Quick change polyurethane guide channels allow for quiet operation at high RPM while feeding round, square or hex bar stock.

What Is RS Technology?

Features: Turbo RS 3-38 Bar Feeder

  • Bar diameter capacity: 3mm to 38mm (0.118” to 1.500”)
  • Automatic loading magazine – 11 linear inches of rack capacity
  • Polyurethane guide channel system – noise & vibration dampening
  • Hydrodynamic support via high-volume oil flow into channels
  • Ultra-quick guide channel and pusher changeovers – 10 min full set changeover, 3 min within same channel set
  • Double pusher, space-saving design
  • Separate floor-mounted electric cabinet isolates electronics from vibration
  • (1) Guide channel set to be chosen by customer. Several sizes to choose from, each handling a specific stock range. See table above (spindle liner required if channel set is not lathe’s max capacity)
  • (1) Universal guide module with insert
  • (1) O.D. bar stock collet to be chosen by customer (specific collet needed for each stock diameter)
  • Swiss headstock synchronization device – 600mm
  • Automatic remnant retraction, self-centering gripper
