Bar Feeder How-To: Adjust Roller Steady On Minuteman 320 Bar Feeder

In this video, we show you how to adjust a roller steady on a Minuteman 320.

Steps:

1 – Load bar stock into bar feeder, lathe collet, and close

2 – Locate internat and external Roller Steady adjustment knobs

3 – Ensure spindle collet on lathe is in closed position

4 – Loosen 10mm nut on adjusting screw 5 – Push “Pre-Auto” on control panel to close roller steadies

To make an adjustment on the outer Roller Steady:

6 – Turn screw clockwise for larger material and counter clockwise for smaller material

7 – Test rollers with fingers to ensure optimal light roller tension
