Transcript to Patriot Rear Stop (The Mystery Box!):
Hi, I’m Brian Grisez with Edge Technologies. This is the rear stop block on the Patriot bar feeders. I call it the mystery block because it’s very difficult to find. It doesn’t appear in the parts manual, and you have to know that it’s there in order to know that it’s there. And if it’s missing, your bar feeder will not function properly. It’s approximately 15 mm wide by 9 mm high by 53 mm long. And if it falls out, it’s almost invariably found in the bottom of the bar feeder. And when it does fall out, the symptoms that you’ll experience is the pusher, when it extracts, it doesn’t stop at the correct position. The position that it stops at in the rear extraction position will vary. And very frequently the front home proximity switch will no longer be made, because the carriage travels too far backwards, and it comes off of that front prox switch and the bar feeder fails the bar change at that point. That was the Patriot rear stop or mystery block. If you found this video helpful, don’t forget to like and subscribe.
